  • Ko darīsim? Ir nepieciešams paveikt darbus ieziemot Nometni. Zāģēsim mirušus/slimus zarus un kokus, krāsosim, sakopsim Nometni, nogriezīsim ūdeni, sakārtosim pludmali, izvilksim laipu no ezera, iztīrīsim grāvjus un vēl!

  • Kas jāņem līdzi? Darba rīki, darba cimdi, utt. (Talkas vadītāji sagādās pārējo nepieciešamo, bet pēc pieredzes zināms, ka ražīgāk var pastrādāt, ja arī pašam ir līdzi nepieciešamie darba rīki)

  • Kur varēs gulēt? Naktsmājas Atpūtas namā $15 pa personu uz visu nogali. Naktsmājas jāsarunā ar Nometnes saimnieku rakstot katskiluistabas@gmail.com

  • Ko mēs ēdīsim? Talciniekiem būs sagādātas gardākās pusdienas, vakariņas un brokasts.

  • Ko mēs vakarā darīsim? Baudīsim sabiedrisku vakaaru pie ugunskura.

  • What will we be doing? Winterizing the camp and maintenance. We will cut down sick/dead trees, trim branches, clear debris, paint where needed, do general Nometne clean-up, pull out the floating dock, etc.

  • Where are we meeting? Zarina zale (aka Edamzale, mess hall)
    What to bring along? Carpentry tools, gardening tools, chain saws, work gloves, etc. (tools will also be available on-site)

  • Accommodations? Atputas Nams is available at $15 per person for the weekend. Request accommodations by writing katskiluistabas@gmail.com

  • Food? Lunch, dinner, and breakfast will be provided for volunteers
    Evening activities? Campfire and each other's company!

Ko darīsim? Ir nepieciešams paveikt darbus lai varam nodot drošu un skaistu Nometni vasaras programmas vadītājiem. Savedīsim Sarīkojumu zāli un mītnes kārtībā, krāsosim, zāģēsim kokus, sakārtosim ziedu dobes, utt.

Kad jāierodas? Sestdien 14. jūnijā 10os no rīta

Kur mums jāsatiekas? Talcinieku satikšanās vieta pie Zariņa zāles

Pirmo reizi Ņujorkas tautas deju kopa “Jumalīte” kāps uz skatuves ar savu pašu koncertu! Lai gan mūsu četru gadu pastāvēšanas laikā esam uzstājušies vairāk nekā duci pasākumos, šis būs mūsu pirmais pilnā garuma latviešu tautas deju uzvdums un mēs vēlamies, lai arī Jūs esat daļa no tā!

Pievienojieties mums 7. jūnijā El Museo del Barrio (104. iela un 5. avēnija, Manhatēnā) uz neaizmirstamu vakaru, piepildītu ar ritmu, enerģiju un tradīcijām. Programmā iekļautas 13 aizraujošas dejas, tostarp "Trejdeksnietis"—īpaša deja Ņujorkas latviešu deju vēsturei. Kādreiz to dejoja tautas deju grupa Trejdeksnis, un šis priekšnesums noteikti atmodinās nostalģiskas atmiņas tiem, kas agrāk dejojuši, un iedvesmos jaunus skatītājus. Nāciet svinēt kopā ar mums, atbalstīt mūsu augošo deju saimi un izbaudīt latviešu tautas deju burvību Ņujorkā!

About the Show

For the first time ever, Jumalīte is taking the stage on its own! While we’ve had the honor of performing at over a dozen events in our short four-year history, this is our first full-length Latvian folk dance concert—and we want you to be part of it! Embark on a journey with "Woven in Silver," a captivating performance by the New York Latvian folk dance group, Jumalīte. This unique show intertwines traditional Latvian dance, music, and storytelling, offering a vibrant tapestry of cultural heritage and contemporary artistry.
